Term
& Conditions
•
Ownership
Furnishing B2B shall remain the owner of
all goods, until the full amount of invoice value has been paid.
•
Liability
It will be the responsibility of the purchaser
to ensure that all goods are insured once delivered. Furnishing B2B
is only responsible for the goods up to the time of delivery and
installation. Furnishing B2B will not be liable for any loss or injury
attributable to defects in the goods or otherwise in relation to
the performance of any contract entered into between Furnishing B2B
and the purchaser. Furthermore, the purchaser shall indemnify Furnishing
B2B against any claim for such damage, loss or injury made against
Furnishing B2B by a third party.
•
Damaged Items
Any damage or shortage of items must be notified
in writing within 7 days. All items will be checked on delivery and
Furnishing B2B will advise the purchaser if any items are outstanding.
We cannot accept liability for items that go missing after delivery.
Furnishing B2B require that the purchaser or their nominated agent
inspect all work carried out, failure to do this during the ‘signing
off period’ would be considered as the purchaser having accepted
and approved all work.
•
External Access
It is the responsibility of the purchaser
to provide access to the property either in person or through a nominated
agent. Furnishing B2B will return keys to the key holder providing
that the distance traveled to do this is considered reasonable by
Furnishing B2B.
•
Internal Access
Most of our furnishings are purchased with
internal access in mind. Furnishing B2B will not be held responsible
for furniture items not fitting through doorways or into the allocated
rooms unless we have been informed in advance about restricted internal
access. It is the duty of the purchaser to inform us of any access
restrictions such as limited doorway space, low ceilings or any other
unusual build feature.
•
Guarantees
All manufacturers warranties and guarantees
will be passed to the owner of the goods in case of faulty workmanship
or other claims requiring exchange or repair. All quotes are given
in good faith.
•
Cancellation
Furnishing B2B reserves the right to charge
the commissioning client for any costs incurred through change of
installation date or change of furniture specification, which is
not instigated by Furnishing B2B.
• Force Majeure
Furnishing B2B will not be liable to the
purchaser for any breach of contract arising from or which may have
been caused by an act of God, war, riot, civil commotion, government
order, direction or legislation by fire, accident, strike or other
industrial action, adverse weather conditions, delays in transport
or by any other matter over which Furnishing B2B has no control.
• Delivery Dates
Delivery dates are estimated and given in
good faith. Furnishing B2B will not be held
liable for any costs incurred through late delivery providing that clients have
been informed
in advance of any changes which may occur
with regard to delivery of furniture packages. In case of delayed installations
due to late
completions or any other reasons outside
the control of Furnishing B2B, the company reserves the right to make reasonable & appropriate
charges for related costs incurred.
•Acceptance of Goods All furniture and furnishings
supplied and installed into clients’ properties are to be ‘signed
off’ before taking possession of the property. Clients or their
appointed representatives or agents, who
fail to be available for signing off the completed work at the time
of completion by Furnishing
B2B contracted personnel, are deemed to have
accepted the entire installation as satisfactory.
•Exchange of Goods and Refunds
All furniture and furnishings are subject
to manufacturers T&C for exchange. Refunds are only made in exceptional
circumstances and are subject to the discretion of the Company. No
refunds or credits will be granted once installations are completed
and ‘igned off’..
•Cancellation of Orders
Orders cancelled within 30 days of
the scheduled installation date will incur
full penalty charges.
Cancelled orders outside this period
may be issued with a credit note
exchangeable for replacemnt goods.
Cancelled orders for custom made
furnishings will not be refunded or credited
in such circumstance.
All credits are granted at the discretion
of the Company..
•Variation
All, or part of these terms & conditions may be varied at the
discretion of Furnishing B2B Ltd.
